![]() But I think I'm more on the small-9 side. For so many years I was an 8.5 and recently I've gone up to 9 in most shoes. I went back and forth on the size, after reading all the reviews. These are an excellent gift that keeps on giving! I got them for my mom last year and recommended them to my best friend, both of whom love theirs too. I recommend sizing down unless you like your slippers very loose and don’t mind cinching them to keep them from falling off your feet. I know the shearling will mat down where my foot hits the ground and the suede will stretch, so my toes will end up with the right amount of wiggle room. They feel snug at the moment but my toes aren’t cramped. ![]() I wear an 11 in every brand I own so I ordered 11 for my first pair (the one from 4 years ago) and they fit perfectly at first but then after about a week, they got too loose for my foot so I used the leather drawstring cord to cinch them tighter so they wouldn’t fall off my heel. So I when I saw that Zappos had these on sale and I could get free shipping, I ordered right away. ![]() I sewed them up but they look like Frankenstein’s slippers now. We rescued a puppy during the pandemic and he chewed them up one day that we left him alone for a few hours. They don’t stink at all even after 4 years. ![]() I wear them without socks since they are genuine shearling and it retains the heat my feet generate without getting sweaty. I’ve owned these for the past 4 years and they have kept my feet warm in Michigan and Montana winters as well as on my tile floors in Las Vegas. Best slippers on earth, worth every penny. ![]()
